Our catalogue now has two machines.
The SORTIX AI Flax Fiber Sorting Machine is the system our customers know: industrial imaging on the conveyor, a neural-network classifier across more than 15 contaminant types, and fiber-safe automatic removal, all running on an edge AI computer inside the machine.
The SORTIX AI + UV Combined Sorting Machine adds an ultraviolet imaging channel. Under UV illumination many synthetic and chemically treated materials fluoresce while natural flax does not, which is exactly the signal a colour camera lacks for clear film, white synthetic string and bleached fabric. The two channels are fused before the removal decision, so throughput and fiber safety are unchanged.
Both machines install in-line in an existing processing line and are operated from the same bilingual touchscreen.
Availability
Both models are available to quote now. UV-specific detection figures will be published once production-line testing is complete; until then the AI + UV page carries the shared specifications of the AI model.
