SORTIX is an Egyptian industrial technology company based in Mansoura, El-Dakahlia. We build machines that use artificial intelligence and computer vision to inspect flax fiber and remove the impurities in it automatically: in-line, at production speed, to first-grade quality.
The company was founded on 6 June 2026 by a team of mechatronics and AI engineers, and grew out of a graduation project that set out to solve one specific problem on the factory floor: contaminated fiber reaching the spinning stage.
Our first machine, SORTIX AI, is designed to be installed in an existing processing line rather than to replace it. Our second, SORTIX AI + UV, adds ultraviolet inspection for the contaminants that visible light cannot separate.
Where we are going
We are focused on flax today. The same approach, image the material as it moves, classify what should not be there, remove it without stopping the line, applies to agricultural crops, food grains and recycling streams, and those are the markets we are building towards.
